This policy describes how APPNOX LTD processes information when you use the Android version of WipeTok. WipeTok helps you review and manage TikTok reposts. It is independent of TikTok and ByteDance.
You sign in directly to TikTok inside a visible Android WebView. TikTok processes that sign-in under its own policies. Session cookies remain in the WebView's storage on your device. WipeTok does not send your TikTok password or cookies to Firebase, Superwall, or our analytics services.
Repost lists, selected items, confirmed removal history and the local credit ledger are stored on your device. Captions and your full repost history are not uploaded to our backend or used as telemetry. You can clear removal history in the app. Clearing app data or uninstalling removes local app storage; local credits and history may not be recovered after reinstalling.
WipeTok uses Google Firebase Authentication to create an anonymous service identifier, without asking you to create a WipeTok email/password account. Firebase Remote Config and Firebase Installations process app-instance identifiers, network information, language, country/region, device/platform and app/SDK version information to deliver configuration and protect the service.
Referral codes, redemption and reward receipts are stored in Cloud Firestore and linked to your service identifier. If you choose to claim a video-promotion reward, we also store the public TikTok handle, public video URL, view count, reward amount and claim timestamp. These records support reward delivery and prevent duplicate or fraudulent claims. The video file itself is not uploaded to our backend.
Google Play processes payments. WipeTok does not receive your card number or bank details. Superwall processes service/device identifiers, subscription and purchase history, entitlement state, paywall/app interaction events, device/app information and SDK performance/error information to present paywalls, verify access, restore purchases and measure paywall performance. Network information can be used to infer an approximate country or region. We do not request GPS location.
We use Google Firebase and Superwall to operate the features described above. Relevant records are processed on our behalf by those providers and may be processed in countries outside your own. We do not sell your TikTok session, captions or repost history. Data sent to our service providers travels over HTTPS. TikTok's own collection inside its pages is governed by TikTok's policies.
When you explicitly share an exported recap, Android sends the selected image to the app or recipient you choose. Your account handle is hidden in the receipt by default. Saving a recap writes the image to your device. WipeTok does not upload saved recap images to our backend.
Local information remains until you remove it or clear the app's storage. Service identifiers, configuration, reward and purchase records are retained while needed to operate the service, provide support, prevent abuse and meet applicable record-keeping obligations.
To request deletion of WipeTok service data, email info@appnox.co.uk with the subject “WipeTok Android data deletion” and the WipeTok User ID shown in Settings. Do not send your TikTok password or cookies. We use the identifier to locate relevant service records and may ask for information needed to verify the request. Some purchase or abuse-prevention records may need to be retained where required. Deleting WipeTok data does not delete your TikTok account or cancel a Google Play subscription; manage those directly with TikTok or Google Play.
