Cleaning up a TikTok profile is really four smaller jobs done in order: clear your reposts, trim old posts, tidy your liked videos, and refresh your bio. The reposts are usually the largest and most annoying pile, so it makes sense to tackle them first. This 2026 checklist walks through each area and points out where the manual route gets painful.

Step 1: Clear your reposts (the biggest lift)

Reposts are the part of a profile that quietly grows out of control. Every video you reposted shows up publicly under the Reposts tab, and over months that can turn into hundreds of entries.
