How we test and review claims
A useful product guide should tell you where its facts came from and what was actually tested. These are the methods behind our product reference and published research.

Different evidence answers different questions

Our first published controlled study
On September 7, 2026, we ran 13 checks against the unmodified extension source using synthetic page elements and Chrome messages. We examined counting, state handling, pause and stop boundaries, and CSV export. We also documented two limits in the current implementation.
Timers were advanced by the fixture, so these checks contain no measured cleanup speed. No real TikTok reposts were removed.
How we compare products
WipeTok is our own product. We disclose that relationship rather than presenting our comparisons as independent reviews.
- Link the relevant store listing or primary source and record when it was checked.
- Compare platform, removal access, workflow, controls, and limitations.
- Label listing-based information separately from features we tested ourselves.
- State storefront and date when reporting ratings, review counts, or prices.
- Avoid claiming a competitor's internal implementation without supporting evidence.
Older guides may not yet meet every part of this method. The sources and review date on each page define what was checked for that article; the existence of this policy does not make older claims independently verified.
Updates and corrections
We review product facts against current source and store information when revising them. Prices, quotas, platform behavior, and store ratings can change independently of a website update.
Send a correction to hello@wipetok.com with the affected URL and supporting details. We retain the scope and limitations of a study when updating its presentation, so a controlled check does not turn into a live-performance claim.
