Is the WipeTok Chrome extension free?
Yes. The extension is completely free with no ads and no in-app purchase — install it from the Chrome Web Store and use it as much as you want.
Does the extension work in Edge, Brave, or other Chromium browsers?
Yes. It installs from the Chrome Web Store and runs in any Chromium-based browser, including Microsoft Edge and Brave — look for an "Allow extensions from other stores" toggle if your browser hides it by default.
Does WipeTok's extension need my TikTok password?
No. It only requests access to tiktok.com tabs and the Chrome side panel — there is no login form, no backend, and no password ever leaves your browser. You just need to already be signed in to TikTok in that tab.
Will using the extension get my TikTok account flagged?
WipeTok paces each removal about 3 seconds apart — roughly the same speed as a person tapping through the Reposts tab by hand — instead of firing requests as fast as possible. That pacing exists specifically to stay under TikTok's normal rate limits.
What permissions does the extension request, and why?
Just two: the Chrome side panel (for the WipeTok UI) and access to tiktok.com pages (to scan and click). It does not request access to any other website, your browsing history, or your downloads.
