How to Remove TikTok Reposts on Desktop (2026 Guide)

Most repost-cleanup guides assume you're on a phone, but plenty of people manage TikTok from a browser tab at a desk. The good news: the desktop site works the same way as mobile, so everything here applies whether you're on tiktok.com in Chrome, Edge, or another browser.

Find your Reposts tab on desktop

1. Go to tiktok.com and log in.
2. Click your profile icon in the top right.
3. Click the Reposts tab on your profile, next to your regular Videos tab.

Remove a single repost manually

1. Hover over the repost you want to remove and open it.
2. Click the Share/Repost arrow.
3. Click Remove repost, highlighted because you already reposted the video.

That un-reposts the one video. It only removes your repost, not the original creator's video, and there is no confirmation dialog beyond that click.

The problem with a long list

This is fine for a handful of reposts. It gets tedious fast once your trail runs into the hundreds: the Reposts tab loads more as you scroll, so clearing it by hand means repeating the same three clicks over and over while re-finding your place in an infinite-scroll list.

Is it safe to automate?

The pacing exists specifically so the extension behaves like a person clicking through the list rather than firing requests as fast as possible, which is what tends to draw attention from rate limits. Because everything runs in your own tab, you can watch each removal happen in the activity log and stop the run at any point.
