What RepostCleanup does
RepostCleanup's listing describes one extension for three platforms: it detects whether you are on tiktok.com, instagram.com or x.com and removes your reposts there. You can clean everything or use Preview mode to select specific reposts, watch success and failure counts with an estimated time remaining, and pause and resume a run. The listing says everything runs locally and that no passwords or personal data are collected; those are the developer's statements, which we have not verified. It also warns that frequent bulk actions can trigger temporary rate limits.

What WipeTok does
WipeTok only handles TikTok reposts. The free Chrome extension scans your Reposts tab and shows the count before you choose to remove anything; the Chrome extension checks pause and stop between reposts. A removal already in progress may finish before it stops. It exports a CSV of its reported removals. On phones, the WipeTok apps for iPhone and Android scan your reposts and let you review a selection before cleanup.

Which one fits you?
- You also want to clear reposts on Instagram or X: RepostCleanup covers all three from one extension.
- You have more than 100 TikTok reposts and do not want to pay per day: WipeTok's Chrome extension does not enforce a daily quota in the reviewed version, though TikTok's own limits still apply.
- You want to hand-pick reposts on desktop: RepostCleanup's Preview mode is built for that; WipeTok's extension scans and removes all, while its mobile apps let you select.
- You clean up on a phone: WipeTok has iPhone and Android apps; check RepostCleanup's current site for its mobile options.
Before any large cleanup
- Never type your password into an extension; use a tab where you are already signed in.
- Run a small batch first and confirm the result in the app itself.
- Leave the tab open while a run is active, and expect pauses if the platform rate-limits you.
