What SwiftPurge does
SwiftPurge describes itself as an account cleaner rather than a repost remover. Its listing advertises mass removal of reposts, likes and favorites, a mass unfollow, and a queue that runs several of those actions one after another. A real-time overlay shows progress on the TikTok page, and a session report can be downloaded as HTML or JSON. The listing says the work happens locally in your browser and that no passwords or browsing history are sent to third-party servers; those are the developer's statements, which we have not verified.

What the WipeTok extension does
WipeTok's free Chrome extension only handles reposts. It adds a side panel to tiktok.com: Scan reposts shows how many it found without removing anything, and removal starts only when you choose Remove all. The Chrome extension checks pause and stop between reposts. A removal already in progress may finish before it stops. Cleanup is paced and can slow down or stop. Completion time depends on page loading, account conditions and TikTok responses. It requests two permissions, the side panel and access to tiktok.com pages, and has no backend.

Which one fits you?
- You want to reset likes, favorites and follows as well as reposts: SwiftPurge's queue is built for that broader cleanup.
- You only want reposts gone, and want to see the count before anything is removed: WipeTok separates scanning from removal.
- You need a record for later: SwiftPurge exports HTML or JSON; WipeTok exports CSV of its reported removals. Neither report independently proves TikTok's final state.
- You clean up on your phone: WipeTok also has iPhone and Android apps; SwiftPurge lists none.
