How to Use the WipeTok Chrome Extension to Remove TikTok Reposts
Jul 12, 2026 · WipeTok

WipeTok's Chrome extension is a side panel that sits next to your TikTok tab and automates the Remove repost click TikTok already gives you. Here's exactly how to use it, end to end.
1. Install the extension
- Open the WipeTok listing on the Chrome Web Store.
- Click Add to Chrome, then confirm.
- Pin it from the extensions puzzle-piece menu so the icon stays visible in your toolbar.
2. Open your Reposts tab
Go to tiktok.com and log in as you normally would. WipeTok has no login form of its own. Open your profile, then click the Reposts tab.
3. Open the WipeTok panel
Click the WipeTok icon in your toolbar. Chrome's side panel opens next to the page rather than as a small popup, so it stays open while you watch the page underneath it.
4. Scan first
Click Scan reposts. WipeTok reads your Reposts tab and scrolls to load the full list, then shows a count. This step doesn't remove anything. It's there so you know what you're about to clean up before you commit.
5. Remove all, or pause anytime
Click Remove all to start. WipeTok opens each repost and clicks Remove repost, paced about 3 seconds apart so it behaves like someone clicking through the list by hand rather than firing requests as fast as possible. The activity log shows each removal as it happens. Pause holds the run where it is; Stop ends it. Nothing removed so far gets undone if you stop early.
6. Export a CSV of what was removed
Every removed repost is added to a running list with its caption and link. Click Export CSV to download that list once you're done, useful if you want a record of exactly what was cleared.
If a selector misses
TikTok occasionally changes its page structure. If WipeTok stops finding the Remove repost button a few times in a row, it stops the run rather than guessing. Reload the TikTok tab and scan again. If the count still looks off, give the page a few seconds to finish loading before scanning; WipeTok scrolls to load more reposts automatically but TikTok's own loading can lag on a slow connection.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to be logged in to TikTok before using the extension?
Yes. WipeTok automates clicks inside your own tiktok.com tab. It doesn't sign you in itself. Log in to TikTok normally first, then open the panel.
What if the scanned count doesn't match what I see on my profile?
Rescan after giving the page a moment to finish loading. WipeTok scrolls to load more reposts as part of scanning, but a slow connection can mean TikTok hasn't rendered everything yet on the first pass.
Can I stop partway through a removal run?
Yes. Pause holds the run in place and Stop ends it; whatever was already removed stays removed, and nothing else on your account is touched.
Clean up your TikTok reposts
WipeTok scans your repost trail and cleans it in visible, controlled batches — no password collection.
