First: a repost is not a like

A like lives in your Liked list. A repost is a recommendation that can appear in other people's For You feeds and under the Reposts tab on your profile; on a private account, TikTok limits all reposted content to approved followers. Removing a repost ("un-reposting") only affects your recommendation. It never deletes the creator's original.
